Sieben Wörter über die Angst is a divided in seven parts, each one exploring a different stage of grief, anger or sorrow.
In a journey through desolated landscapes of sound, the instruments at times supporting and at times opposing a wandering mezzo-soprano, we seek for hope yet to be found…
This piece was commissioned by IMPULS Festival 2022 and is dedicated to Salome Kammer and Ensemble Tempus Konnex, by whom it was premiered on October 19, 2022 at the Steintor-Varieté in Halle, Germany, during the 2022 edition of IMPULS Festival under the baton of Ilya Ram.
